More Questions and a Medical Evacuation Flight continued

This post is a continuation of the previous one since the comment section became embedded in the previous post and it would no longer take pictures.

The Pegasus runway is in the top third of the picture to the right of the large mountain - about 12 miles away.
The 'Fruit Police' at dinner Thursday! We were given a choice  of a half banana, nectarine or pear.
I chose a delicious nectarine for dessert.

This morning I had fresh melon!

  1. Happy Anniversary, 33 years!
I know that the nectarine fruit is one of your favorites. I enjoy lots of fruit but I splurged to celebrate and bought a small Publix vanilla cake with fudge frosting....something I haven't eaten in months. Cary is enjoying it also, and our appreciation of "freshies" is relative to your usual choices; corn, broccoli, peppers, sugar peas, green beans, to name a few.
Tonight is the final celebration of the Olympics with lots of medal reviews of our finest athletes. I think of you and Jocelyn as high caliber athletes and know that you are preparing for a future with rides that will be full of adventures. Keep pedaling and taking those amazing pictures. Love always, Andee

    1. Thanks Janice and Charlie. From now on every time I walk into a store's fruit and produce section I will be thinking of McMurdo. Good luck to Charlie with the knee. See you in December.
